Fujifilm Debuts New Logo
Fujifilm yesterday adopted an updated logo that will replace the one developed in 1980 and used for the past 26 years. The 72-year-old film giant announced the much-needed new logo back in July, but officially began using the mark October 1.

According to a Fujifilm press release, the company decided to make the change to strengthen the corporate brand in accordance with changes in management structure. About the logo, they also said:
“With a sharp accent design in the center of the logo, Fujifilm aims to express its commitment to advanced technologies. The dash of red expresses its determination for continuous innovation. At the same time, Fujifilm will continue to use green as its corporate color, inheriting its established brand assets.”
The new logo design will be the fifth for Fujifilm. The original featured Mt Fuji and is a solid design. The company has since only used logotypes, seen below.
