You are doing great, comprehensive design tutorials! They’re fun to watch, too. Beware of too many blocky logos though. I sometimes have the feeling that logos look too much like brick walls (especially in the U.S.). Dynamic and openness can give the design recognizable character.

I love the revision but…. The left “house” graphic bothers me; the odd angle, dangling there with no apparent purpose while intruding onto the center house graphic seems to imply a crack (for lack of a better term.) A (subconscious) graphic impression a builder may not want to convey to customers.

i’m a graphic designer in southern california (san diego)
i like what you did with the logo,
but i suggest that you join the “B” and “S” from the word BUILDERS to the bottom of the houses
other than that looks good
great job with the podcast i really enjoy it

I was afraid you went away for good! Thanks for the podcasts, I enjoy them.

The re-vamped logo is a vast improvement over the original, although I’m not a big fan of doing things like extending the lines on letters..but that’s just me.
I generally like your thought processes on logo design.
