Origins of the Google Logo
Wired Magazine recently chronicled the history of the Google logo. They went through and showed all of the Google logos that might have been. Some are good, and some are bad.
Google knew they wanted to go with a logotype as opposed to just a logo. The article shows the different stages in the development of the Google logo. I like the logo that they eventually chose although I’m not sure if that is only because it is so familiar to me.
