Flying Logo=Flogo

SnowMasters, a company known for producing fake snow has created a new product. They have produced a substance that looks and floats like a cloud. What is more impressive, is what they are doing with their new product. They are molding this new substance into recognizable logos. “Flogo” was coined using “flying” and “logo.” Flogo is a combination of helium and oxygen which can range in size from 24 to 48 inches.

The Flogos can fly as high as 20,000 feet but will normally fly between 300 and 500 feet. They also have the ability to float 20 to 30 miles and are strong enough to bounce off buildings. Nothing like this has been done before.

Very cool though I question the legality of releasing them say into a crowded city block, I can’t wait for the microsoft logo to stick to someone’s car and cause an accident.

  2. Gray Says:

This would be about as dangerous as a balloon.

  3. Tanner Christensen Says:

    Skywriting 2.0.

  4. Mark Says:

actually ballons are realy dangerous… a HUGE pileup on the motorway was caused when someone driving was watching a balloon… and people can choke on it!

  5. Richard Kelly Says:

Flogo is a stupid, ugly idea. I don’t even have the freedom now to look at the sky without encountering a @#$%^&* ad!
    It stinks!

  6. High Level Marketing Says:

I didn’t even know these were made ! How cool. But are they legal?

  7. Mike Says:

I’d like to know what kind or chemicals they break down into and if they’re dangerous to people and/or animals. I doubt its made from JUST Helium and Oxygen…

  8. Tim Says:

I’m with Richard on this one. I think our vision has enough clutter due to advertising without the sky being polluted too. When I hear about this, I imagine a future with logos cluttering the sky.

  10. The Fred Says:

Two of you posed questions as to the legality of releasing a form of smoke into the atmosphere. WHY WOULD IT BE ILLEGAL???

  11. cv Says:

how is this different than looking at the good year blimp, planes with banners… the sky has its ads now without any legal problems

  12. Josh Says:

A real amazing creation, yet another outlet for advertising!
I’d love to see them do a promo video!

  13. rob Says:

a combination of helium and oxygen?

why not just use water vapour?

  14. Zoigburg Says:

What we need is some nut job building 10,000 shiny ufo’s out of this and floating them around various cities at rush hour!

    @ the Fred

It may be illegal because of the chemical makeup, or because of the intrusive nature of the designs. People would, as has been said, be prone to paying more attention to the strange “cloud” than to the road.

I am against ads in general. Times Square would be much more beautiful if there were no ads there, but art instead.

IGNORE all these ignorant posts. Check out the video. This is 100% Legal as blowing bubbles into the air. They are using a long lasting glycerin formula, Same stuff that is in soap. They are forming bubbles filled with a mixture of Helium and AIR mix to offer just enough lift. 100% Helium would be too light and not be as easy for form shapes. The bubbles are extruded and cut releasing it. It is 100% Biodegradable. If a bird were to fly into it. It would simply break apart in lots of bubble pieces. This works in Calm winds. When it hit higher altitude with more turbulent wind it would break apart and vanish
It’s actually a sound and safe idea. Other ideas would be to add food coloring or glitter for an added effect. I’m sure this could easily be scaled up to 6 or 12 feet

I can’t wait until they can float advertisements into our dreams
