Check out this logo created by a Swedish brewery. I like the use of the emoticon in the logo.

D.C. United announced a sponsorship deal with Volkswagon which includes the VW logo on team jerseys. The contract runs for five years and is valued at $14 million. D.C. United is very comfortable with their decision as they have taken their time to find a partner that they felt lined up with their values and image.

I know that we’ve highlighted Google and Yahoo a few times for the efforts they make during holidays, but I’m doing it again. I haven’t seen any other companies who routinely celebrate holidays by “holidizing” their logos. It’s something simple and fun to do. Plus, you can reuse the holiday version of your logo each year without making any changes.
