Just because the font has enormous ugly extenders doesn’t mean you have to put up with them. Tame those puppies!
Like the colors. Don’t like the “of Deliverance” on top. People don’t read naturally like that. The order needs to be top to bottom, left to right. Right now it reads “Lighthouse Gospel Church of Deliverance”.

Like the graphic. Leave it. Maybe don’t need the lines at the bottom.

There are too many elements. Part of the messyness of this logo is that there are three fonts being used. We have a script font, san serif font and a serif font all in the same logo! You can create something similar that uses just two fonts and it would help a lot. Also, the lines under the logo should go. They look like an after thought or add on. They don’t need to be there. Finally, the ‘i’ in Lighthouse is much thinner than the rest of the text in the word. I don’t think it needs to be a uniform ‘i’, but at least start the base of the ‘i’ at the same width as the other letters and then taper as it flows into your illustration.

First off, there are too many different fonts going on here. Consider using the same font for “of Deliverance” that is used for ‘Gospel Church”. Right now the logo does not read properly. The text should flow/read more or less, left to right, not up, down and around.

When I look closer at the lettering for “Lighthouse” it appears that the “o” and the “u” are slightly offline. The “o” appears to be slightly above the baseline, while the “u” appears to be sitting just below the baseline.

While I like the idea of the “i” serving as the foundation of the lighthouse, I don’t feel it works with the dot over the “i”. The lighthouse graphic is very nice. The lines are very clean and stylized. I would be interested in seeing what the lighthouse graphic would look like a bit larger and to the left of the “Lighthouse” text.

I may also suggest making the water lines at the bottom yellow. This could be seen more as a reflection opposed to just vanishing/appearing lines.

It may be time to think about starting over on this one for all the reasons previously mentioned. Your first obstacle is typography. “Lighthouse of Deliverance” could work as a whole rather than splitting it up. This would clean things up quite a bit. Integrating an image or graphic into the type is a great idea, but in this instance isn’t working yet. As has been mentioned, the three lines at the bottom aren’t necessary and feel very much like an attempt to improve something that isn’t working in the first place. As for the 3 different fonts - this is a big mistake and goes back to the typography issue. Use one font family with a variety of faces and weights to achieve the hierarchy you’re after. This will keep things cohesive throughout the composition.
