This is another case of the graphic overpowering the text. The MOST important thing in a logo is the text. MAKE THE NAME STAND OUT.

And the graphic is not really related to "international" or "land"....maybe to "title". It's a little mayan-esque and uneven.

There are a lot of elements that we can tighten up to improve this logo. The column is over done. If you are looking for a unique custom logo, the column might not be the way to go. The curves on the stock in the column illustration look off. You might be doing this on purpose to make the column look 3-D, but it's not working. It looks like a mistake. Also, watch the details on your illustration. There seems to be a line that doesn't flow cleanly into the curve in the upper right. Little details like this can make an otherwise professional logo look cheap. The type looks very crammed. You gave the column element a ton of space and then you crammed the type together. Again, this looks like a mistake. If you shrink this logo down can you still read the word international? Try fixing these and then see what you get .

Why the columns? Did the customer request it? That image has been overworked, and unless you come up with something extremely strong and visually interesting, it's just another column. Your image isn't bad, I just think it lacks a punch. I like the blue color, it's a strong business color. I think your text is too tight to the borders as compared to the spacing above. When this icon is shrunk down, you won't be able to read the word International, especially in the thin serif areas. If you're going to work with an idea that has been used extensively, take it upon yourself to come up with an image that will set a standard, not just follow behind the rest. Good Luck.
