Not a bad logo. Holds together well. The swooshes seem a bit thick in relation to the type. The complementary colors are nice in and of themselves, but I am not sure just how appropriate they are to this company. As far as originality…I see many of these type of logos each day. One other thing to pay attention to is how the swooshes line up with the lettering. They seem a bit random and not as unified as they could be if all were consistant in how they line up with the type.
The font screams freeware. I say that, because is is very uneven, like how the N is thicker in the middle, and the Gisn’t aligned along the right. I would choose a more professional font.
I like the simplicity, the movement and the colors. Not original, really, but it’s not too bad. I have no idea what the company does, but that’s ok.
Overall execution needs help. Since your design is simple and based on clean lines and symmetry your execution needs to be perfect. The swash above and below doesn’t seem to flow well. And your type choice is too loose and doesn’t fit with the overall balance of the design. Work on these two items and you will have a strong mark.
