I think this is a fun and whimsical logo for the company it's been created for. Very nice illustration. The style of the illustration matches the theme of the business. The only changes that I can see have been mentioned. Drop the yellow boarder around the name and make the word Ideas more readable.

There's kind of a lot going on. If you fix the text on the top, dropped the cherry and the wands would the logo have the same effect without being so busy? Just something to try. Overall, nice work!

I would agree. It offcenter with the illustration and the text. That needs to be fixed. I wouldnt recommend the script font. It rarely looks good when arced, and is not as readable as it could be.

I would also lose the wands with the tagline so you can enlarge that. And make sure the client knows that they will be paying for 4 colors when they print this.

Very fun, nice illustration. Just a couple of comments, if you're going to tilt text, it either needs to be definate or not at all. The font above is close enough to being centered, that it looks bad. If your going to have the ice cream be off-centered, the top header should probably be tilted on the left side to help balance it out. I would also lose the yellow border, it makes the font look blurry, and the capital I in Ideas is difficult to read. Watch your tangents in the illustration and text. The bottom tag-line is too close, and the wands are too big and also too close. Pay attention to symetry and watch your spacing, and this will make a nice piece.
