First, the big S and the word “ilver” isn’t working. The drop image isn’t needed, and doesn’t work either. The contrast in the two green colors is too harsh. A logo represents your company, and the quality of your work. It should make a very strong, professional impression and give the customer a visual picture. This logo needs to have more thought put into it, to make it stand out and represent your company the way a logo should. Custom text, integrated with a strong graphic mark would be the direction I am suggesting you go. This mark has neither. This does not represent your company well, especially since you are in the design industy. Good luck.

Not at all atractive in any way. Dump this whole one and start from scratch with some new ideas. The colors that you picked is also dull and cold. Sorry for the negative comments but you will have to work hard on this one. The font used is also very stiff and hard, especialy for a designing company as you described. Nither do I like the pudle you creatd below the text, dosn’t work. Good Luck!

Drop shadows should be only used if you absolutely need something to pop out, and not as a subsitute for good design. You have the S “popping out” with the drop shadow, but it’s behind the rest of the text, which doesnt make sense to me. And a name like Silver Lake should have a silver or a blue in it at least…but here we have greens and burnt orange. And the lake isnt identifiable enough. I would agree that this needs to be re-worked from scratch.

Back to the drawing board. It may be time to sit down with the latest edition of Logo Lounge before you proceed. The logo you’ve submitted here is very sub-standard.

everything above and one other thing, Silver. if your going to use the word silver i think the logo should have silver in it.
