Ouch. That was my initial reaction. The shape used behind the text hurts my eyes. The main focus should be your name and not the sun shape. In fact, you might run into issues where people don't want to read your name because the logo strains their eyes. Maybe you could use the inner sun and dumb down the detail and color. Try something simple. You can expand your illustrations on collateral materials. Also, the shadowed type makes the tag line difficult to read. The font is very complex on it's own. Don't add another layer of complexity.

I personally don't love this logo. It's more a personal preference than anything. I don't care for these "earthy", "hippy" type fonts. They don't read easily and I think that classic standard fonts can be used effectively for every situation. It's all a matter of execution.

The flowery shape is beautiful, but I don't think it's appropriate for a logo. Much of the beautiful details will be lost in many instances. It's better suited for an illustration of some sort. Overall the logo feels slight. I realize the goal is to portray relaxation, but the logo still needs to make an impact. Perhaps fewer points on the flower and fewer color transitions within it - if the flower motif is the direction you're going. The name of the company is drowned out completely and the font doesn't help that at all.

I recommend re-working this one. The idea is fine, but you may run into problems with smaller items like business cards etc.

Well, it certainly is eclectic. The font needs to be more readable. THe balance is good, but the text isn't seen FIRST, which it needs to be. If that whole oval was bigger, and the text more legible, this logo could work. The client needs to be warned of the printing costs, though. This would be very hard to reproduce consistently, and impossible to embroider.
