I like the leaves in this logo a lot. It is a nice start, but could use a little more work. There is just too much going on with the olives dripping into the jar. When you use the logo at smaller sizes, the drips will get lost. Also, the gradient in the ‘o’ will get really muddy. You might try incorporating the leaves and branch into the ‘o’ and making the ‘o’ represent an olive. Just an idea, but I don’t think you need to show the whole process of extracting the juices from the olive in the logo. Some ideas can be implied, thus helping you keep your logo simply and easy to read. That brings me to my last comment. The type needs more work. This might be close to the right font, but I don’t think it is quite there. The dot in the ‘i’ is bugging me. It just adds to the complexity of the logo. The kerning seems too much. Try connecting some of the letters if you want to use a script font. It’s a nice idea. Just spend a little more time refining the concept. How little can you include and still get the concept across?

It is a nice idea, just needs to be simplified a bit. A logo that tries to say too much can wind up saying nothing, cause it will tire the eyes and people will move on. Logos should be pleasant, a rest for the eyes. I’m not saying this is unpleasant, but it’s too much to take in at once.

This logo is very busy. The overlapping olive leaves and dotted i look like they’re randomly placed. Make sure there is a purpose to your placement. You are saying olive oil twice in the logo. Say it once. The o could be an olive - then you would have a solid type treatment that conveys the concept without a lot of effort on the part of the viewer.

i agree with the critique so far. the name focus is on the word…people need to know the name of what they are buying. so keep it to the word and incorporate the graphics into that. you have the perfect set of letters for what you want to accomplish. take advantage of the cross in the letter t as your branch…i would extend it to create the banchand use the letter o next to it as the olive. if the drip of the olive juice is necessary, have the drip coming off of the letter o. if you make the graphic part of your word it will look less crowded. to me there is just too much going on.
