At first glance, my initial reaction is that you are trying too hard with the text manipulation….it isn’t working. The curves are too awkward. I like the concept of a smooth font with manipulation, as I have stated in the past….anytime you can pull off a strong mark with clean, simple text manipulation it will always be a memorable mark. I would suggest going back to the drawing board, and cleaning up the concept a bit.

I like what you’re trying to do, but the curves are awkward. The u and the m don’t need the curve - they’ve already got it. If you can get the b and a curves to look smooth and consistent in thickness, you may have it.

I’m a big fan of logotypes, as long as they’re interesting. I’ve seen fonts that do this very thing, and it doesn’t catch the eye yet. I see waht you were trying to do, but the type needs to do SOMETHING to retain interest. Is their an area of specialty with this mall? Is there any kind of graphic you could tie in or form from the letters?
