I think you are heading down the right path but I don’t think this logo is complete. The word “Restaruace” needs to have the kerning adjusted so it is more consistent. You could even go a little smaller on the type so there is some breathing room between the letters and the leafs. Also, to me the top text and the bottom text don’t seem to have anything in common. Try to bring them together somehow. One way of doing that would be to have some hierarchy. Meaning, right now they are about the same in size. If the top text is more important, make the bottom text smaller, if the bottom text is more important, make the top text smaller. Again, somehow you need to bring them together. Maybe using just one font would help out and moving them closer together.

Not bad. I would play with the leaves a little more. They seem heavy in comparison to the rest of the composition. The name should be the first thing you see. When I look at the logo I see the leaves first. You might want to try outlining the leaves, or lightening the color.
The other issue I have with this logo is that it looks like a name and tag line typed out. What’s exclusive/memorable? The leaves are nice. Maybe you could integrate them into the text some how. Make it exclusive by adding some sort of feature that cannot be replicated by others.
All in all, it’s a good start.

I agree. There needs to be something tying the elements together, and something making this logo unique.
I’d stay away from that cursive text for logos. It is hard to read quickly.
Dingbats are good for quick and dirty single-use logos, but for professional logo design, you need to at least modify them so they are original.
