It looks like two seperate logos. The illustration of the pacifier is nice, but it needs to be integrated with the text in some way. Is there a reason for the box? Because it takes away, rahter than adds to the logo. You want to strip the logo of all but the absolutely necessary elements. Then unite everything with a style or at least a color.
If you do leave the box, make the inside of that ring yellow.

I agree with Paul, the pacifier and the text look very different from each other. You need to somehow bring the two together. Some options would be to remove the box and incorporate the pacifier into the text. Another option would be to pick a style and use that on the pacifier icon as well as the text. Right now you have the pacifier in one style surrounded by a box that is in another style and then the text that is again in a different style.
My overall recommendation would be to lose the box, like Paul said, it takes away, rather than adds. I think you are on the right track, just keep revising it until it works.

Agree with the other two.
Perhaps you can create a logo that is an actual toolbox, put the owner’s name (in this case “Baby”) on the front of it, and the have the pacifier as the handle on top of the toolbox?
