Impressive, very nice icon. I agree with ben on the width of the middle line, you may even want to thin down the widest parts just a smidge also. I think the font is just too boxy. Curving off the corner edges, and adding more "stylization" to the font, along with tony's suggestion of moving the text to the right would help a lot. I also would suggest watching the kerning, the a to p and the a to k gaps are too tight. Very nice, looks good.

I would see what it looks like if you increase the width of center line in the 'z' ever so slightly. When you shirnk down the logo the middle line starts to get lost and the icon looks like a couple of horns. Other then that, the icon is nice.

As for incorporating the text into the compostition, try creating some sharper points to relate to the lines in the icon. Maybe the k's decender can be a swash of some sort? I'm not sure. You'll have to play with it. Lastly, remember to watch your kerning.

I really like like the icon. The colors work well together. I actually prefer the way you display your logo on your website, with the name on the side of the icon. I don't think it works as good the way you have it presented here. To tie the company name and icon together more, you might want to try a dark gray for the name instead of black. Other than that, I think you did a great job.

Nice. I like it. The z is just cool. The only problem is that it looks like 2 seperate logos. There's no unifying element.

This can be easily printed and used for online stuff. Other designers may not like the gradients, but in this day and age, a printer that can't handle gradients shouldnt be in business. And it can easily changed to solid colors for embroidery.
