I too did not see the 5, and struggled to even see the S at first. I saw an odd looking C at first.

First up, I don't have the brief in front of me. But if this logo is going to be applied through all elements required for a TV Station then it's facing a couple of fundamental challenges. It's over complicated, the five isn't clear and all those white and black outlines are going to cause a flimmering headache on the screen when in smaller sizes. Go back to the drawing board and reduce it down, away from the funky shinny 3D effects, they are fine for the animated logo, but this thing will be required to function as a logo bug, on a microphone etc, so it's primary forms must be simple and reproducable.

I guess I'm the only one so far who saw it as an S though I knew it was for Skyline... I love the color scheme. Great flow, great design and great simulated relfection on the black circle. The top of that circle which touches the S does look a little strange. I don't think it should have the black outline.

I think that's a 5...let's say it is. You need to be clearer...choose a different font that says 5 better. Love the colors, love the effects.

I think the reflection on teh ground is a bit much...I don't see a reason for it. and the only other problem I have with it is the continuity with the orange circle. It shifts once it gets past the the top stem of the 5. That may have been intentional, but it's too obviously wrong and looks like a mistake.

Excellent effort.

I like the colors. I'm not too clear as to why the top of the 5 is taller than the bottom. It makes it uncomfortable for me to look at. Also, the yellow circle "breaks" at the top of the 5 and i'm not sure why. Perhaps a different 5/S altogether might work a little better.

This will be a nice piece for television. The only things that I would suggest is fixing the thick white line at the top that is in the black part. It looks to out-of-place. It might work if it was thinner or grayscale. Also, the area in the '5' where is overlaps the orange close to the bottom. There is a little sliver of orange showing through and it looks like there was no thought to its placement. If you could increase the size of that area or make it all white, that might solve the issue. Other than those couple of items, I think it's great. I would be interested to see the revisions you make.

Not bad for multimedia use. The white ouline that curves around the black part might look better if it fades to black before it reaches the five (or s) as it does on the bottom left. Also, the outline around the number five (or s) needs to be worked with a little more. The thin line of orange is too thin. You'll have to play with it and see if the white outline can be thinner, or thick enough to get rid of the orange line all together. The only other thing that botheres me is that the rings look a little bubbly to me. I think you can work with them a little more and keep their "shinyness" without making them look so bubbly.
