Nice logo. I like the fluid nature of the hair and how it forms a d and s. The font looks good. I might try a few different icon to text ratio’s just to see if the icon size could be brought down a bit. The taper on the s hair might be a litlle rough, but all in all a nice logo.
Try making the icon more a bit more pronounced. I would add a bit more curve to both lines of the figure to more closely mimic the letter forms d and s.
Have you considered color? The design works well in all black but think a splash of color could really make it alive.
Maybe try a version without the dots in the a’s. Nice design. I can easily visualize it on apparel.
Reminds me of Dasani for some reason, LOL. Otherwise, I think it needs a little bit more of a curve in the D. And right now, with those stylistic dots for the crossbar on the “A”, the text seems a little lop-sided to me. How about placing a dot in the center of the “O” to balance it out?
If you were to draw an imaginary box around the whole logo, you will see that the “D” and “S” marks are taking up too much space. This is important because when you create a usage guide for this logo you won’t want to have anything ever intrude the space within your logo area. I would try making them a bit shorter (almost half the size). The rest of the text looks pretty good. I would check your kerning between the “N” and the “Z” in Danza and the “U” and “D” in Studio.
Yes, the kerning needs a little work. I like this logo. I like the font, simplicity and elegance of it. I would shrink the abstract DS, though. Just a little.

This is nice work for a non-designer (and not too bad in general
I like that you kept it simple and clean and didn’t try to do too much.
Nice job!
