Richard,

In my opinion, your logo needs a redesign. Here are my thoughts:

1. Your logo should contain two elements: text and graphic symbol. Your company's name transmits a very clear message which would worth to be represented visually, too.
2. The text should limit to your company's name. The font could be changed, depending by audience and other considerations.
3. Your logo's redesign can be done after a detailed discussion about:

a. your needs [visual identity's history and desired future]
b. your current visual identity presence on the market [related to your competitors and to the given market]

Best regards,
Respiro

Hello Richard ... I agree with the comments here. Go out and get some impressions from more professional logo sites. Your logo lacks some idea and creativity. Maybe introduce some bug-like shape. Make the typography a bit more vivid as bugs are. And definitely get rid of the address line.
Good luck with the improvement.

I like the name. This is a plus. You don't need the address to be part of the logo. My problem with the colors is that the blue background won't print the way we see it on our monitors. It needs to be less saturated (needs a little more gray in it)

It is great that you took a shot at this and realized the importance of having some feedback on it. Here are some of my thoughts that might help create a better logo.
• Remove the address - that is one element that should not be in a logo.
• Add some element that will be recognizable to people, something that could stand alone without the company name. Whether that is a bug or insect, I don't know, but the logo needs more than just a blue oval.
• Get some inspiration. Go to www.logopond.com and look over some of the well designed logos. If this isn't your cup-of-tea, hire a designer to do it for you. There is a lot that goes into a good logo and designers have been trained in those areas.
Good luck, I hope to see some improvement in the future.

Hopefully you'll take what I say as constructive criticism, because I just want this logo to grow up and make his owner proud.

Very good colors and good simplicity.

There's no need for the address. That can be added to your printed pieces NEXT to the logo, but you really want your logo to be seperate.

Text in an oval will not really make the company stand out from the competition, or attract the eye of the customer. I'm not saying it has to have 7 types of bugs, crosshairs and a glue board. I'm just saying it should show a little taste of what the company deals with. I would rework this into a unique mark.
