Yep, kalyani. That's the exact same. I'm hoping this is a case of YOU being the designer for the SIngapore company, and wanted to test-market the logo to other designers. If not, you're busted.

Nice catch, Gideon. This is why an online design community is so vital. It keeps us from getting lazy.

Dear Sir,

Your "hello" logo is being used by Singapore Telecoms. I am afraid that you might run into difficulties using the logo.

This isn't a bad start to a logo. There are a few things that I would think about.
1. Why is the "o" on hello so much bigger than the rest of the word?
2. Why is the red background so different from the "hello" as far as the contour?
3. Why the black gradient box?
I would just try to create a nice logo with the word "hello!". Drop the background red, make the letter forms a little more consistent, drop the black gradient box, and even think about dropping the "Leeds Mobile" part.
I would suggest do some research on different logos that are within the same industry and looking at what works and what doesn't work. A good place to go for inspiration is Logopond.com. I would love to see some revisions to this.

I think that this logo is headed in the right direction. I really like the treatment of the "hello!" text, and the red outline adds a lot of character. I have just a few suggestions to take this logo to the next level. First off, the black gradient feels out of place. If you elimante this element all together, you will have a nice one color logo. Next, I would follow the shape of the exclamation point with the outline all the way down, instead of breaking into a harsh vertical line half way. And finally, I would make the red bar at the bottom so it extended the full length of the logo.

This logo confuses me. Let me first talk about the stuff I like. I read it instantly. It has a fun personality. It's pretty simple, so it can be put on cell phones easily (except for that gradient).

The gradient black box really looks tacked on. It doesnt fit in with anything else. The Leeds Mobile text also feels very out of place. The text width are very inconsistent (compare the O with the H)-is it supposed to look like it's coming out at us? The reddish "encasing" around it is also very inconsistent. And the E is just weird. I get th at it's supposed to be spring-like uppler case E, but it just looks wrong. Hopefully this helps.
