It’s a quick read, but a little disjointed. First off, what’s not necessary? I would say there’s no need for the black outline in the cup. And there’s definitely no way you should use a black stroke on that font. A printer would throw a fit.
Pick a font that matches the graphic better, and make the text dark blue with no stroke. That will complement the gold. And experiment with different styles of suns. This one looks a little…spidery.

I feel like the icon is overpowering the design. I would consider removing the stroke on the wording for sure. I think if you reduced the size of this logo to be very small the text would appear just black. The coffee cup lines are a bit loose. I would clean up the curves a bit and possibly add some depth to it and center it better. Maybe also consider adding another yellow line under the wording. I think that would pull it all together. Hope this helps! Good luck! : )

This is a good start. There are a couple of items that I would address.
First, remove the stroke on the font like Paul mentioned.
Second, the sun and cup don’t seem to fit together. It looks like you just placed the cup with out thinking about the placement. Try adjusting the size and placement of each element. Maybe the sun isn’t so big or it is placed on the cup or even sun rays coming out of the cup. Just try something that brings them together.

The design is really nice, but the floating cup is not really attractive. Maybe you should connect the bottom of the cup to the sun or the handle of the cup to the white stripe going around the sun, so it won’t be floating. I’m not a coffee or tea drinker but I like this logo.
Good Job

Almost there with this one. Lose the keyline on the cup and the type and tidy up the sun rays. Make the type heavier and in the same yellow as the sun and you’ve got it - a nice tight logo.
