Hi jason, thanks for posting your logo here for review.
I can tell you right off the bat that this logo simply will not work. The idea behind it is good, I really like the breaking chain; however, because of the amount of detail in the logo, when the logo is resized or printed in only one or two colors it will become unrecognizable.
Instead of using - what appears to be - a 3D chain for the logo, why not try to use an illustration that is much more simplified? That way, when the logo is resized and printed with fewer colors, the logo will still be recognizable.
The chain symbol isn’t the only part of the logo that needs tweaking. The font choice is great, it’s clean and legible. But the spacing for the font makes the logo much larger than it needs to be.
Try a few variations on the text with a new symbol and you should have something really great. Good luck, and if you can post revisions here in the future.

I really love the type treatment you have for “UNCHAINED CREATIVE.” In fact, I feel that it would be great as a stand alone. The breaking chain links look nice, but feel really disconnected from the text. As for the descriptive text below your name, I feel that this would work best if it was used only on business cards.

Take out the chain, take out the “tagline” (Events | Mobile Marketing | Design) and you have yourself a simple, solid logo.

I love the chain. Please don’t change it. I like your text color because it looks great with the chain.
However, I agree with Jonathan when he said that the tag line has to go. It just makes the logo seen like a poster instead of a logo. Also, it wouldn’t hurt to play with the vertical spacing in between the elements. Overall I think that you have the makings of a good logo.

Chain concept is good but printing keep in mind also
Good logo designer always keep this thing in mind how much printing cost involved for branding. So my suggestion to stay with your concept and change the graphic

My first thought is of the weakest link. The graphic seems to reference the chain rather than the freedom from it. Using something broken might be risky.
