Bleeding Cowboys is not a logo font. It's a flavor of the week, and it has no business with that icon anyway. Sorry, Walter.

I love the grunge treatment of your company name and feel that it is really strong on it's own. If you would like to keep the icon, however, I would recommend giving it a similar grunge treatment. Also, if you keep it in solid black, it would look tight!

I definitely agree about the icon versus the text that has been mentioned. The icon just reminds me of Rockstar video games. It is definitely used in many logos. I love the look of the grunge font, and it would work great for this brand of clothing. The only problem I have is when I first look at it I read "Flithy" instead of "Filthy" I think that is because the way the L is broken up at the top and the i is so solid. Otherwise, nice!

Hi Walter, thanks for posting a logo for review. I completely agree with Tony on this one: the type and the symbol for the logo are sending mixed signals - one is crisp while the other is rough.

I also think that the symbol is quite cliche for a clothing company, stars with symbols in them have been used over and over again. The stylized font could do well without the symbol, get rid of it and use the font as the logo.

If you really feel obligated to use a symbol of sorts in your logo try to do something more unique than a star, and try to make it match the grungy feeling of your font.

You have two very different elements here. The font is very rough and faded while the icon is crisp and clean. Putting them together just doesn't work out. You need pick one style and stick to it. I really like the font and think that works very well. I would suggest just using that and dropping the icon.
