If you would like to keep the icon, however, I would recommend giving it a similar grunge treatment. Also, if you keep it in solid black, it would look tight! The icon just reminds me of Rockstar video games. It is definitely used in many logos. I love the look of the grunge font, and it would work great for this brand of clothing. The only problem I have is when I first look at it I read "Flithy" instead of "Filthy" I think that is because the way the L is broken up at the top and the i is so solid. Otherwise, nice! I also think that the symbol is quite cliche for a clothing company, stars with symbols in them have been used over and over again. The stylized font could do well without the symbol, get rid of it and use the font as the logo.
