For a non designer it is an awesome attempt. Heck I know some designers that have produced less quality work, so you go!

My comment would be to get out of the box. Of course the wave could use some refining, but it also doesn't have to be in a lined box either. I might remove the stroke shrink the main text and have it fade into the copy. Kind of like you have it, with the waves, but with the gradient going in the other direction, fading down from strong to light.

looks like you have 2 logos going on.

if you look at the white space and the dark blue swash, it almost looks like a medical illustration of the male genitalia.

the wave is confusing, It might be that extra dark blue swash you added. it seems to confused rather than enforce the image as a wave. remember not to add unnecessary objects.

Yes, nice work for a non-designer. I agree with all the above comments. The wave needs work to make it more understandable, and the font doesn't match the graphic.

I like what you tried to do here, but it just needed more refinement. What stood out right away for me was that the darker blue swoosh doesn't flow well with the rest of the light blue curve. Also the wave pattern in the font doesn't work..and won't reproduce well.
If you're not a designer though, it was a respectable effort.

My first comment is one the icon. I'm not sure what it is. I'm guessing it is water and a wave but it is not clear. Also, why is there the darker blue shape? I would try creating more of a wave shape with the lighter blue and delete the dark blue shape or try and connect the two better. Right now it looks like the dark blue shape was just put there because there wasn't anywhere else to put it.
Another idea would be to loose the wave idea and create a shape that looks more like a pool.
My next comment is on the overall logo. It would probably work better if you decreased the size of the icon and made the text a little tighter. Meaning, bring the letters closer together and the top line and bottom line. I like what you have done with the bottom text. Keep working at it and make sure it doesn't loose the readability. Good start but needs some work.

The symbol being used here is pretty good; it's unique as far as wave symbols go. I like it a lot and think it gets a great feeling across. The font and text that falls beneath the symbol, however, do not match that quality. A simpler, cleaner, and tighter looking font (void of any wave patterns) would look much better. Aligning the words so they all are the same width would also make the logo look more appealing.

Overall it's a decent logo, the type could use some treatment though.

I like it, but I am trying to figure out the image. I know it is supposed to be a wave, but is it more than a wave? Because if it is only a wave, it is kind of strange. If there is something else to it, I don't see it.
The font looks good, but I am not too keen on the texture of the waves/water within the letters.
