It depends on the way you look at it and exactly where that you're coming from on the topic really. Ultimately attractiveness is in the eye of the beholder, but Now i am with you on this one.

Gives it a goofy look. Makes him look like he has a buck teeth, and look retarded. It does giver off that funny sensation, which is good for most ideals out there. I laughed at it, but get rid of the black background, and place a more of an darker white so you could see the skull, and not have that annoying glow with the black. Thats my opinion. Simple is good

well, i like the thumbs. i see that the skull is giving the "two thumbs up". i got that straight away. so i guess that's different strokes. for not being a designer you've done a spectacular job. the only thing i do not like is the typeface choice and here's why :: you have an "abstract" icon, it's not photo realistic; you also have an abstracted typeface. i think you'd do better to balance the icon with the type by using a more "standard" or non abstracted typeface. still, very cool logo!

I really like your skull icon, but agree with the previous comments that the "thumbs" are distracting. If you were to remove them, you would have a tight image representing your company.

considering that this is a film co., the 2 thumbs up makes sense. You just need to finesse it a little bit. Maybe you can join the hands to the skull and create one image.

definitely remove the INC. or at least center it.

agree that the icon is a little too large.

going in a good direction.

I agree completely with persy.

The INC. instinctively bugs me, but I guess I can see how that can be part of the company name. INC as an ironic twist can work sometimes, I guess.

The font, though, has got to go.

The thumbs can go, too. Think about what that's trying to communicate, and do it simpler. Maybe the graphic is ONLY a better-drawn skeleton thumb. The graphic is also too big. It shouldn't dominate the text.

I completely agree with what Tony said: the skull icon alone - without the "thumbs" - would be a fairly nice logo. The font looks very unprofessional and makes the logo look like it was created for use in a high school graphic design class.

Try a strong font, get rid of the thumbs and the annoying "glow" - and circle - behind the skull, and you'll have nice looking logo, in my opinion.

I think for not being a designer you are off to a good start. I agree with John about the thumbs. I didn't know what they were until I read his comment. I think you could remove them and still have a good icon.
I don't like the font choice. It looks too sloppy and doesn't relate at all to the icon. I think you could find a better font that works with the icon. Try to find something that has a similar look and feel to the icon so it works together and not like two separate items.
Along with trying John's idea about the rectangle, I would also try removing the circle and just using the skull face with nothing behind it. I would also try placing the icon on the left side of the text.
