I like the colors, the line idea and the “woodwork” font and kerning. A few thoughts to improve this:
–Widen the kerning on “Custom” and keep it consistent across “Custom Cut”. You can still have the gaps in the blue line.
–Try Moving the blue line to underneath both lines of text. This may require using the “woodwork” font for both…
–Get rid of the tagline.

I’m afraid i disagree with Max. The kerning has to stay as it is because that is the idea! Perhaps a better solution might be to use a blocky sans serif for the top line and use a light version of the same font for WOODWORK and reduce it 70% in size but still centered. This would help to disassociate WOODWORK from the gaps thing that’s happening above.
And yes lose the tag line.

Anyway i’m afarid i disagree with Max. The kerning has to stay coz that is the idea. It might be better to use a blocky sans serif on top and use a lighter version of the same font underneath but 70% in size and still centered. This would disassociate the word WOODWORK from the gap idea going on with the blue line.

Tim not bad, i would agree with max to let the tagline go and i was thinking to use shades of brown in it may be replace the blue line with rounded wood like lines.
Also if you are want to try another idea. You got 2 C’s i would have used them in a symbol and incorporate a tree trunk in it…
I hope you get the idea what i am saying…

I like the font used in woodwork, but definitely not the font used in Custom Cut. The dashed (cut) line is not really connecting with the entire design.

I agree with havepulse, the dashes are a good idea, but the font …it looks like its from the entire design completly
