OK. Seems like I’ve seen this treatment before.

The natural ones often seem that way. It’s an M and a W, what else do you want?

This does seem overused as a symbol, I’ve definitely seen it before, used for medical companies mainly. The graphic is way too big in proportion to the text, hence your focus moves directly to the graphic rather than the company name.
Is there supposed to be some sort of an EKG reference in the graphic, tied to the ‘Life Saving’ in the tagline? Not quite sure how that applies to a Wire company.
Shrink the graphic, switch the color of the ‘Minnesota Wire’ wording, and remember more often than not taglines clutter logos.

I see your point, Mike, but this design seems waay to familiar. What do I want? Originality. I’d be more impresssed to see the MW intertwining like wire. The connected side-by-side treatment has been done over and over.
It does look very professional, though. I don’t even mind the tagline. MW is hard, because it seems to be very popular.

Agreed - not exciting, but a good re-iteration of tried and tested form.

Excellent use of the M and W. “KISS”ed it well…
